We’re so excited to share Tyler & Melissa’s wedding with you! They married at Winston Place in Valley Head, Alabama, on May 1, 2010. Before we hopped out of the car on Saturday morning, Thomas and I said a little prayer…part of that prayer was asking for the Lord to bless Tyler & Melissa’s marriage, and the other part was asking for good weather, regardless of what the weatherman predicted. God for sure heard our prayer, because the weather that  day was absolutely perfect! I’m sure Tyler & Melissa’s marriage will be blessed as well. 🙂

Melissa and Tyler planned a beautiful day. The wedding took place at a stunning antebellum home. Melissa paid special attention to every detail of the day, from the bridesmaids’ gorgeous up-dos, to the honey that her guests took home as favors. The bridesmaids carried white bouquets with orchids and hydrangeas that matched the groomsmen’s boutonnieres, and Melissa carried a simple white bouquet of tulips.

The ceremony took place on the front lawn of the beautiful home, and the reception was just a short walk away in a large white tent. {The reception was as beautiful as the ceremony!} Chandeliers, candelabras adorned with white flowers and white linen tablecloths created an elegant ambiance at the reception. We enjoyed watching the bride dance the night away with Tyler, her father and her wedding party.

The guests of the wedding, the bridesmaids and groomsmen, the family members and the bride & groom all seemed to have a marvelous time. Melissa was a beautiful bride, and Tyler made a very nice groom too. 😉

We so enjoyed photographing your wedding day, Melissa & Tyler. We pray that your marriage is blessed, and that your life together is even more beautiful than your wedding day. Thank you for letting us capture the day. {WE had a fabulous time too!}

Wedding and reception took place at Winston Place. Tents, tables and lighting provided by Deborah’s Party Rentals. Wedding cake & Groom’s cake by Cakes by Audrey. Hair by Brittney Knight & Hunter Birdyshaw. Floral arrangements by Brandy Spears Catering, Inc.
