Stephanie and Jeff found out about us through a past client, Kimberly Coker, who is now Mrs. Kimberly Sabel. 🙂 {Those photos coming soon!} We were thrilled to hear from Stephanie, and we were even more excited when she and Jeff decided they wanted us to photograph their big day!

Stephanie and Jeff got engaged while taking a New Year’s trip to the Smoky Mountains. They were friends in high school and started dating as freshmen in college. Stephanie was in school at the University of Alabama, and Jeff was attending AUM. They’ve been together ever since, and within a year, Stephanie decided to head back to Montgomery, where she also attended AUM.

When Stephanie told us that she wanted to have her engagement session at her parents’ home in Fitzpatrick, we gladly agreed. We always enjoy shooting at places that are special to our brides and grooms.  Stephanie and Jeff also asked if they could bring their pup, Ophelia, along for some of the photos, and we thought that was a fantastic idea. We’re dog people too, and we definitely feel that pups are part of the family.

We had a marvelous afternoon with these two. Stephanie’s parents’ land provided all sorts of natural beauty for the session. Fall leaves, planted Pines, old Oaks, and a pond were just a few of the backdrops we enjoyed.

Stephanie and Jeff will also be getting married in Fitzpatrick, right down the road at her grandfather’s home. We drove by the ceremony location after the engagement session, and I know that it will be a lovely wedding!
