Finding Purpose for the Passion | Making Things Happen 2010

Yesterday, at the Making Things Happen Intensive, my life was changed. I was humbled, impacted and moved by the amazing group of MTH2010 attendees, Lara Casey, Jeff Holt and Jeremy Cowart. Their honesty & passion revealed things in my heart that I didn’t even know were there.

Lara challenged us to go home and record a video about our experience at MTH2010. She said we didn’t have to share it, but I’m posting mine here. You want to know why?! Because I’m feeling the fear and doing it anyway! Remember this is my first attempt at a video blog, so please excuse the awkward pauses and twisted words here and there. It sometimes takes my mouth a while to catch up with my brain! (And to be 100% honest with you, this is actually my second attempt at a video blog. I recorded the entire first video, pushed play and there was no sound!)

Thanks for watching, and believe me, there’s lots more to come! 🙂

So here it is, y’all…Me: Raw and Uncut!

P.S. The little ball of fluff in my lap is Mickey AKA Fluffster AKA Fluffanelly. He’s my MTH2010 Mascot.

You are so right, Sarah! Push through the fear and amazing things will happen. I love this and I love that you were so open and honest. Thank you for having the courage to post this – I’m still trying to gather my own. And I have to add, Mickey is so cute! He looks like the happiest little fluff ball sleeping in your lap!ReplyCancel
