I’m taking a deep breath as I write this post. It’s been a while since I’ve blogged, but there’s so much to say, I’ve kind of been overwhelmed by the idea of sitting down and putting it out here.
You remember how I said big changes were coming? Well big change #1 has happened…and it’s time for us to share the news with you. We’re making it official. Here. Now. I knew it wouldn’t feel quite real until I posted the news to the blog, and as I type this, my heart is racing.
T2 Photography is now a 100% full-time photography team. That’s right, friends. I, too, have made the leap. Both Thomas and I are full-time photographers, and I’m so excited about it I could just about jump over the moon.
For a long time we’ve known that we needed to make this move, and after lots of prayer and personal reflection, we made the decision that NOW is the time. I know that we’ll have plenty of trials, but I also know that the Lord is leading us somewhere wonderful! I’m 100% confident that He has a plan for our future…and I’ve never felt more confident that we’re on the path that He truly intends for us to follow.
I knew when this little business started to grow, that our talents and skills blended together too well for this not to be God’s intention. As time passed, it became more and more apparent that the feeling in the pit of my stomach…the aching in my heart to do what I love every single day…would not subside until I listened.
So what does this mean?
This means that Thomas and I will have more time for our clients. We’ve been so excited about the friendships we’ve developed through this business. We kind of fall in love with our brides and grooms, and we’re excited to be able to spend more time getting to know them, better serving them, and making sure that their experience with us is awesome. We’re excited to grow those relationships…and we’re also excited to make new friends.
It also means that we’ll have more freedom to travel. We’ll have more session times available. We’ll be able to take on more clients. We’ll be able to spend more time “paying it forward.” We’ll have more time to commit to every aspect of making sure that we’re giving clients the best. Period.
We know that with God, the possibilities are endless. Thanks for all of your referrals, support, friendship and most of all, thank you for all of your prayers. We found our passion. We’ve found our purpose. Now we’re making things happen. God is good.![]()
